What are we up to?

We’re developing chocolate without cacao. 



Because the way most of the world’s cacao is produced and processed at the moment is unethical and environmentally f*cked.

It involves child labour and slave labour; and lots of it. And great swathes of land are being deforested to grow cacao for chocolate-eaters, and producing 1 kg of cacao beans produces around the same greenhouse gas emissions as 1 kg of cheese or lamb.

We’ve come up with a way of making an alternative to chocolate—that tastes, melts, grates, snaps the same—but can be made in a way that avoids these problems. 

We are launching a consumer brand for our products and will also sell our products as ingredients to existing chocolate producers.



Using whole ingredients and fermentation smarts. It’s what we call “very clever cooking”: a mix of traditional techniques with cutting-edge food tech.


Why do we need your help?

We are looking for a Sales Manager to implement and manage our UK & EU Sales & Business Development strategy. Is that you?


This is an integral role at WNWN, supporting the Commercial Director to build a coherent, trailblazing Sales & Business Development strategy for our B2B and Grocery channels, ensuring our growth targets are met.

Here’s a summary of what you will do:

  • Manage all outbound and inbound sales activities across the UK and Europe
  • Pitch to retailers and B2B clients via email, telephone and in person 
  • Establish new business and lead generation through various channels
  • Account management and growth
  • Directly sell products to clients, working with internal teams to support the logistics process
  • Gather market intelligence from new and potential clients on current trends and convey findings with the product development team to support any new product ideas
  • Work with the Marketing team to create effective campaigns to help drive sales
  • Present WNWN’s brand, value proposition, and products effectively to increase sales
  • Maintain accurate sales records and support the Commercial Director to implement a CRM system
  • Manage trade shows and sales events
  • Day to day management of the Sales team, ensuring KPIs and sales targets are met
  • Attend sales and business development meetings in the UK and overseas (when required)
  • Negotiate commercial deals and sales contracts
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets 
  • Review sales performance and create in-depth sales reports


Who are you?

More than anything we want to find great people to work with. If all of the above sounds interesting to you, then please get in touch. However, in an ideal world you would have:

  • At least four year’s Sales experience, preferably at a food/beverage or FMCG brand
  • At least two year’s team management experience
  • An existing ‘book’ of potential clients and leads, as well as the ability to drive new leads
  • A university degree or equivalent
  • Experience successfully launching new products in the UK market
  • Experience selling consumer products to retailers and ingredients to restaurant groups or manufacturers
  • Experience working with big four grocery and retail multiples and managing relationships with buying teams
  • Experience using CRM systems for efficient account management
  • A track record of smashing sales targets and closing deals worth £1 Million +
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and excellent commercial acumen
  • Strong numerical ability and able to use spreadsheets to produce reports
  • Great communication and team working skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Self-motivation, common sense, and initiative 
  • Availability to work full-time in London
  • A love of chocolate!
